And another MLH student was awarded a scholarship from the Brier Foundation, Mindy Nye from Ohio was awarded a scholarship for being a woman in aviation. Mindy shared her obstacles during training have “have been mainly financial. With the help of this scholarship, I’m hoping to complete my CFI training within the next 1-2 months.” She encourages others to “Never give up. If at first you do not succeed, try, try again. Do not give up too easily. Persistence pays off in the end.”
