Mauna Loa Helicopters is pleased to announce our new Honolulu base Safety Officer Travis Bartholomew. Travis is from Vermont, he chose to come to Mauna Loa Helicopters because of our accreditation which allowed him to get funding for flight training.
“I applied for the safety officer position because I believe in this industry it’s important for pilots to understand their limitations related to risk mitigation and external factors. I think SMS is a great tool for all pilots to use to help this.”, stated Travis
