On August 17th Mauna Loa Helicopters celebrated World Helicopter Day. With help from students and staff we were able to set up 2 helicopters for the public to sit in and ask questions. We started the event with the paramedic team taking a photo with our R66.
Our CFI’s were available to talk to future students, and discuss training opportunities. We had a sign up for those interested in doing intro flights, by having them fill out a short survey. We also held a raffle for our students to invite friends and family. The winner of the raffle was Jenifer Martinez.
