Currently working for PJ Helicopters out of California, he is performing utility work all over the U.S., as well as helping with fires.
Tell us about your career path.
When I graduated from MLH I worked there as a flight instructor and an assistant chief. I then flew tours in Los Vegas for Papillon helicopters before making the move to fire/utility.
Do you have any other comments or suggestions for those just beginning in the industry?
The education I received at Mauna Loa Helicopters is second to none. You will not find staff anywhere else in the industry that is as friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And while flying in Hawaii is beautiful and fun, you will learn so much from the winds, weather, and terrain that the islands have to offer. My training in Hawaii has set me up for success.
