Agnes's journey began in Sweden, a country known for its beautiful fjords, dense forests, and a deep love for adventure. Driven by a passion for flying and a desire to explore new horizons, Agnes made the bold decision to move halfway across the globe to join Mauna Loa Helicopters in Hawaii. She saw this as a unique opportunity to train in Hawaii and take advantage of the F1 student visa program, allowing her to pursue her dream of becoming a professional pilot in the United States.
Agnes's training at Mauna Loa Helicopter was nothing short of extraordinary. Our Profesional Pilot Program offers students the chance to experience diverse flying conditions, from soaring over volcano landscapes to navigating Hawaii's dynamic weather patterns. Agnes quickly realized that her decision to train at Mauna Loa Helicopters was the perfect choice for an aspiring pilot seeking a comprehensive and exciting aviation education.
"It's amazing how much versatile experience can be gained from one place. Hawaii has it all: high-density altitude flying, dynamic weather, flying around lava, high-density traffic, and all the different kinds of airspace. It builds a great base to start your career," Agnes shared enthusiastically." Agnes shares about her time with our school. After successfully graduating from MLH Professional Pilot Program, Agnes's journey took an exciting turn as she transitioned from student to instructor. Her passion for flying and her commitment to excellence made her a natural fit for this role. As a flight instructor at MLH, Agnes has the opportunity to impart her knowledge and experience to the next generation of pilots, inspiring them to reach new heights and achieve their dreams.
Agnes's talent and versatility as a pilot were future recognized when she was promoted to conduct survey work and fly helicopter tours. This role provided her with the opportunity to showcase the stunning beauty of Hawaii from the skies, offering tourist a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Agnes's journey didn't stop in Hawaii. Her exceptional skills and adventurous spirit eventually led her to the stunning landscapes of Juneau, Alaska where she is currently working for Coadtal Helicopters. Flying an AS350 helicopter, Agnes conducts exhilarating tours over ice fields, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of Alaska's glaciers and rugged terrain. Her journey from Sweden to Hawaii and now to Alaska is a testament to the endless possibilities and exciting opportunities that a career in aviation can offer.
