When you become a student at MLH you not only are you going to be embarking on an aviation adventure, but you will also make lifelong friends along the way.
Michael Radiff and Collin Tokarsky arrived at the Kona airport on the same day, Michael flying in from Las Vegas and Collin flying in from LA. The universe and its timing just clicked and both gentleman were placed as roommates in student housing. And then on orientation, they realized they had the same instructor as well. Did we just become best friends? YES! Yes, they did.
Having both worked in the entertainment industry their friendship grew instantly and with similar experiences due to COVID, they both found themselves training in Hawaii and taking the first steps towards becoming pilots.. Their friendship and bond during their training helped motivate them, “it made it easy to want to mirror good habits and be able to start turning dreams into goals” Collin explains as he reflected on his training and friendship with Michael.
