On June 1st Mauna Loa Helicopter held a Professional Development Workshop for our instructors. We invited Control Tower Representative Jeff Acord who is also a FAAST representative to be our guest presenter. Jeff shared valuable information about Phraseology and Safety tips for flying in Kona. He made a powerpoint displaying the current flight paths and best calls to make. The instructors were able to ask questions and Jeff helped them with answered they can use in future flights. MLH would like to thank Jeff for spending time with our instructors and we are looking forward to the next Professional Development workshop.
