On November 20th our guest speaker was Dan the Safety Officer from Paradise Helicopters. Dan shared with our students and staff about the Four Pillars of a successful SMS system, how and why we should be using a flight risk analysis, and how submitting a hazard of an incident report works from the Safety Officers’ side and what he then does to help correct possible hazards. Dan and the students/staff listed items that could be seen as a hazard for the school and possible solutions.
