Mauna Loa Helicopters is excited to share that Samantha Hansen, a CFII at MLH, was awarded the CHC Safety Summit Scholarship by the Whirly-Girls organization. Launched in 2004, the CHC Safety & Quality Summit is aimed at sharing education and best practices in aviation safety. The CHC Summit will include a discussion conducted by some of the top minds in the aviation and safety arenas. The 14th CHC Safety & Quality Summit will feature approximately 100 concurrent sessions over the three-day period, providing Summit delegates plenty of opportunities to hear from industry experts. Samantha will also participate in a Human Factors Safety Course following the conference in Dallas, TX. Mauna Loa Helicopters is dedicated to improving aviation safety through SMS and educating students in risk management and we are proud to have Sam as a team member.
